Technical Highlights

  1. GNSS Baseband: The digital baseband supports concurrent acquisition of multiple GNSS systems, including GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, SBAS and QZSS
  2. GNSS RF Front-end: Integrates a built-in low noise amplifier (LNA) enabling direct connection to a multi-GNSS antenna, while also supporting high-gain external antennas for improved linearity and enhanced signal performance. An optional dual-antenna configuration with adaptive antenna selection further strengthens signal integrity, making it well suited for portable devices with wide orientation variability
  3. Controller: The multi-GNSS navigation engine and control functions are implemented using an integrated ARM M3 MCU. This allows for a fully integrated and complete GNSS as well as supporting remote firmware updates
  4. Ultra-Low Power Architecture: Optimized power management with deep sleep modes and efficient RF design, enabling extended battery life for compact IoT and portable devices. Cloud computation improves accuracy, reduces power consumption and extends battery life
  5. Bluetooth Version: BLE 5.4 integrated

The T2M6181 is a compact, ultra-low-power multi-GNSS receiver SoC that integrates an RF analog front end, digital baseband processor, navigation engine, system control logic, and an efficient DC-DC switching regulator within a single device. It supports dual-antenna input selection to improve signal reliability and reception performance, making it well suited for portable and handheld devices where orientation may frequently change. The receiver architecture supports up to 64 tracking channels for enhanced satellite acquisition and positioning accuracy.

The T2M6182 is a low-power, high-sensitivity multi-band GNSS IC integrating an RF front end, digital baseband, ARM7-based navigation and control processor, and on-chip power management. It supports reception of up to four major GNSS constellations—GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, and BeiDou—across L1, L2, L5, and L6 bands, along with Xona X1 and X5 signals, and can operate with up to 512 tracking channels (configurable to 64 for reduced power consumption). The device also enables optional cloud-assisted positioning services for enhanced accuracy and sensitivity, and features an I²C interface with firmware support for automotive infotainment integration and dead reckoning functionality.
